All of our timber is C16 kiln dried, stress graded or better.

Timber Machining
We offer a timber machining service to cut and machine timber to customers requirements.
Please note:
- we only cut timber supplied by us
- we do not match none-standard profiles
- For none standard sizes and there is a charge for this service.

C24 Grade Timber Eased Edge
Green and Son stock a wide range of C24 Stress Grade Timber which is stored undercover so as to maintain quality.
- Kiln Dried
- Quality Timber
- Available in many lengths and thicknesses
C24 Can be used for most applications and commonly used internally for floor and roof joists providing that the correct spans are used.
C24 Can also be used where higher loads or wider spans are required.
Sheet cutting
We offer a sheet cutting service to customers requirements.
Please note:
- there is a charge for this service.
- we only cut sheets supplied by us, and you must purchase the cutting service at the same time as ordering your panels.
- the blade thickness must be taken into account when calculating how many pieces you want to get from a sheet .

Skirting / T&G Boards
At Green & Son we carry an extensive stock of joinery products in pine and MDF which are available in a selection of patterns/profiles and sizes. We also have a wide selection of screws, nails, adhesives, finishes and the tools to work wood, browse this website or pop in to our retail facility in Lingdale to see the full extent.
Plain Side & Edge (PSE)
Plain Side & Edge (PSE) dressed timber available as a variety of pre-machined stock sizes 25mm and 50mm thick x 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 175mm, 200mm and 225mm. Please note that when finished, sizes are approximately 5mm less than these pre-machined size.
We have onsite facilities to machine timber to customers sizes, charges apply and this service is only aplicable for timber supplied by Green & Son.

We carry an extensive stock of Sheet Materials in a range of thicknesses and to assist the DIY enthusiast half sheets are available.
